Senior Software Engineering Manager, Virtual Storage (Mandarin, English)

Like Google's own ambitions, the work of a Software Engineer goes beyond just Search. Software Engineering Managers have not only the technical expertise to take on and provide technical leadership to major projects, but also manage a team of Engineers.

• Build a team of engineers that would be responsible for building SSD storage related products, features, reliability and performance.
• Set and communicate team priorities that support the broader organization's goals.
• Align strategy, processes, and decision-making across teams.
• Coordinate and communicate among multiple partner teams, including SSD hardware, Persistent Disk, VM virtualization/hypervisor, and others.
• Support critical customers with proactive escalation management and effective communication.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 7 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
• 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• 5 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English fluently to partner with local clients and regional partners.
